You have finally met the person of your dreams and all you want to do is throw the most beautiful wedding event ever! but we are in a recession and money is tight. Here are a few steps that will help you achieve a beautiful and memorable wedding during a financial crisis.

Step 1 - BE FLEXIBLE
While deciding with your fiance' which date to tie the knot, go for an off season wedding, that means do not plan your wedding for December, January, April, June or November. They are on high demands for weddings.

Step 2 - BE FLEXIBLE.. again
Now that you have found the off season month that works for you, now go deeper and find the least demanding day people are booking their weddings, for example Saturday evenings will cost you a lot more than a Sunday evening. If you choose days that are not on high demand you can still have a beautiful place at a good deal.

Step 3 - INVITATIONS
Thanks to the world wide web, your computer and your printer you can save hundreds of dollars on your invitation announcements by doing them yourself. If you search the web or go to your local craft store you will find gorgeous invitation packages that you can do print them yourself.

Step 4 - ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS
If you would like to include a photo of yourselves on your invitations, go out to your favorite spot or some place with a beautiful background and have fun together, do this while a friend takes photos with a digital camera. You can take hundreds of shots and pick just the right one. Then you can print them at home or take them to a local printing store where you can pay pennies per photo. That will save you from hiring a professional photographer for expensive engagement photos.

Step 5 - GUEST LIST
If you want to have a full course dinner at your wedding, you must cut your wedding guest list and then cut it again. If there are too many people you don't want to cut out, then let go of the full course dinner and choose to have a receiving line and invite everybody. They can come in ,congratulate you, eat small plate o'dourves and stay for the cutting of the cake and dance the night away.

Step 6 - WEDDING DRESS
The biggest decision for that day is your wedding dress. You want it gorgeous, you want it breathtaking and you want it cheap! So hit the online stores, you can find brand new gorgeous wedding dresses on eBay, I can tell you this because I purchased one valued at $1,200 for $150.00 dollars. It was flawless! If you don't want to leave such a decision for an online seller, then be patience and wait for the wedding sales at your local retail stores. As much as we love looking for just the right one, remember you will only be wearing it for one day.

Step 7 - WEDDING FAVORS
What a pain it is to get the right wedding favors for your guests. It took me forever to find one that they won't throw away after the reception. I found that I could order chocolate bars labels with a beautiful decoration on front, it also included our names and our wedding date. I was happy with this because by buying the labels only, I could go to Sam's club and buy the chocolate bars by bulk and do them myself. With this I saved a lot of money and I knew they would not go to waste.

Step 8 - GETAWAY CAR
We all want the nice hummer limousine as our getaway car, but they are expensive, full of small charges like gas, mileage and driver tip. To save money and still leave in style, ask a close friend or a family member with a nice car to loan it to you for the event.

Step 9 - FREE STUFF!!!
There is nothing more satisfying than free stuff! if you want to win things for your wedding, look at your radio station website, local s newspapers or wedding retail stores for wedding giveaways. You can win things like honeymoon, limousine packages, jewelry and some places even offer to giveaway entire wedding packages, it won't hurt to try! plus it is free! free!
